What’s Included in Your Acrylic Stand Kit
Your Square Reader or business card holder comes in 5 pieces. These parts are designed for you to easily assemble yourself, ensuring a sleek, sturdy display that complements your workspace or point of sale—and it's perfect for flat-packing at market stalls too.
Assembly Instructions
1. Remove the Protective Film
Before you begin assembling, ensure you remove the protective film from all the pieces. This film protects the acrylic during cutting and shipping. Important: Failing to remove the film could cause cracks in your base plates. Take your time and peel away the film carefully.
2. Assemble the Base
The thickest piece (available in white, black, clear, or frosted) will be your bottom plate. On top of this, place the coloured base plate. These two pieces stack together for added stability and a sleek look. The design includes a cutout where your Square Reader will sit securely (note: this cutout is not included in the business card-only version).
3. Insert the Business Card Holders
Next, place the two business card holder components:
- The rectangle piece goes at the back.
- The semi-circle piece with a tab slots in at the front.
These provide a neat and professional space to hold your business cards.
4. Add the Backplate
Take the square backplate (or the shape you selected) and slot it into the long groove on your base plate. This completes the assembly and holds everything securely in place.
Optional: Adhesive for a Permanent Fit
If you’d prefer a permanent setup, use adhesive to bond the two base plates together. We recommend E6000 glue, available here. Apply a small amount between the two plates for a seamless, long-lasting hold. However, glue is completely optional—your stand will be functional without it.
