Choose from three unique styles:
- Single Layer Name Plaques: Cut from a single sheet of acrylic. Some fonts may include unconnected portions (like dots on an “i” or standalone flourishes). A clean, minimalist option for doors, walls or party styling.
- Double Layer Name Plaques: The name is raised and fully attached to a solid backing layer. All parts of the word are joined, making installation easier. A popular choice for baby name signs, nursery walls and signage at events.
- Triple Layer Name Plaques: Designed to make a statement. Three layers of premium acrylic create rich contrast and depth. Ideal for luxe event signage, feature walls, and branded displays.

How are the name plaques sized?
We size based on whichever dimension (height or width) is reached first. For example, “Zoe” may reach the maximum height before width, while “Alexandria” may hit the width limit first. Our sizing tiers range from Tiny to Giant — refer to the size guide on each product listing for detailed breakdowns.
What material do you use?
All plaques are laser cut from premium 3mm cast acrylic. Choose from a wide variety of colours and finishes including: gloss, matte, pastel, glitter, and mirror (with grey or white backing). Mirror acrylic should be handled with care to avoid scratching.
Are the names connected in one piece?
It depends on the plaque style. Single layer plaques may include unconnected components depending on the font (such as dots on “i” or flourishes). Double and triple layer plaques are fully connected to the base layer, making them much easier to install and perfect for cohesive styling.
Can I choose how tall the name is?
Each name is automatically scaled to fit your selected size bracket. If you have specific sizing needs (e.g. matching heights across multiple names), please contact us at hello@laserblanks.com.au before ordering.
Do you offer mock-ups?
Mock-ups aren't automatically included, but we're happy to help! Just email us with your order number immediately after purchase to request a mock-up before production begins.
Can I include numbers or symbols?
Standard font options do not support numbers or symbols like &, + or @. If you need these included, contact us to arrange a custom order.
Is mounting hardware included?
No mounting accessories are included. We recommend using 3M Velcro strips, Blu Tack, or double-sided tape depending on the surface. Our plaques are not freestanding and must be securely mounted, especially in children’s areas.

What’s the turnaround time?
Our acrylic name plaques are made to order. Please allow 3–7 business days for production, plus shipping. Express shipping upgrades are available. If your order is time-sensitive, we recommend getting in touch prior to purchase.
Are they suitable for outdoor use?
Our standard plaques are best suited to indoor use. If you require outdoor signage, reach out to us — we can advise on suitable finishes and materials based on your location and exposure to elements.
