Laser Blanks – Terms of Service

Overview

This website is operated by Laser Blanks. Throughout these Terms of Service (“Terms”), “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Laser Blanks. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by all Terms, including additional policies referenced or linked throughout our website.

These Terms apply to all users, including browsers, customers, vendors, merchants, and contributors of content.

Please read all Terms carefully before using our site. By using this website, you agree to follow these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the website or any of its Services.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell products and services to you.

Section 1 — Online Store Terms

By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your state or region, or have given consent for your minor dependents to use this site.

You must not use our products for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose. You must not violate any laws in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to copyright laws.

A breach or violation of any Term may result in immediate termination of your Services.

Order Changes, Cancellations & Administration Fee

Laser Blanks does not accept any order changes, add-ons, cancellations or modifications once an order has been placed and paid for online.

In the event that a customer requests a discretionary cancellation, approval is entirely at the discretion of Laser Blanks.

All discretionary cancellations — including, but not limited to:

• change of mind
• duplicate orders
• incorrect address entry
• misunderstanding turnaround times
• ordering the wrong size, colour, shape or item
• no longer needing the item

will incur a 10% administration fee, calculated on the full order amount including shipping fees.

Custom Orders

Custom orders cannot be cancelled under any circumstances once production has begun, even if the order has not yet been dispatched. This includes any process involving personalised text, custom sizing, unique shapes, or one-off creations.

Bulk / Wholesale / High-Volume Orders

Bulk, wholesale, or high-volume orders cannot be cancelled once materials have been allocated or production has begun. These orders may have extended lead times and cannot be refunded due to customer error or change of mind.

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the nature of our products (acrylic, laser-cut, fragile, and often customised), Laser Blanks cannot accept returns or exchanges once a product leaves our premises, unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

We cannot accept returns for reasons including (but not limited to):

• change of mind
• colour not as expected due to screen variations
• ordering the wrong size, shape or thickness
• incorrect details entered during checkout
• incorrect personalised information provided
• purchasing duplicate items
• misuse or damage after delivery

Colour Variations, Material Notes & Swatches

Acrylic colours can vary between batches and may appear differently depending on lighting, photography, angles and screen displays. These differences are normal and are not considered faults.

Specific Colour Notes

• Navy Acrylic appears more like royal blue in natural or bright light.
• Lilac Sorbet is a very pale pastel lilac and can appear close to white depending on background and lighting.

Material Characteristics

• Mirror acrylic naturally shows micro-scratches and fine marks.
• Gloss acrylic may display light scuffs due to its reflective properties.
• Matte acrylic may contain slight texture variations.
• Colour shifts between batches are normal.

These characteristics are normal for acrylic materials and not considered defects.

Colour Swatches

For precise colour matching, Laser Blanks offers physical colour swatch sets available for purchase. Customers needing exact colour certainty (especially for branding, signage, client work or events) are strongly encouraged to order swatches before purchasing.

Cutting Tolerance

All acrylic products are laser-cut to industry-standard tolerances of ±1–2mm. This applies to:

• width
• height
• thickness
• hole placement
• shape outline

This tolerance is normal and not considered a defect.

Personalised Items & Customer Accuracy

All personalised products are created exactly as the customer enters them at the time of ordering.

Laser Blanks is not responsible for errors including:

• misspelled names
• incorrect dates
• wrong colours or fonts selected
• incorrect punctuation or symbols
• customer-provided design mistakes

No refunds or remakes can be offered for customer mistakes.

Misuse, Handling & Installation Responsibility

Laser Blanks is not responsible for misuse or damage that occurs after the product leaves our premises.

This includes damage caused by:

• bending or flexing acrylic
• dropping or impact
• heat exposure, moisture, or improper storage
• incorrect glues, adhesives, or cleaning products
• installation errors, including incorrect mounting or hanging

Wall mounting is entirely the responsibility of the customer. Laser Blanks is not liable for:

• damage to walls, paint, plaster or surfaces
• products falling due to unsuitable adhesives or hooks
• improper installation techniques

Damaged Items on Arrival

If your order arrives damaged, you must:

1. Take clear photos of all items and packaging.
2. Email the photos along with your name, address and order number to hello@laserblanks.com.au with the subject line “Damaged Order”.
3. Submit your claim within 5 business days of receiving your parcel.

Claims outside this timeframe cannot be processed.

Return to Sender (RTS) Policy

Parcels may be returned to Laser Blanks if:

• the delivery address was entered incorrectly
• the parcel was not collected from the post office
• delivery was refused
• the address was incomplete or invalid
• multiple delivery attempts failed

In the event of a Return to Sender parcel, the customer is responsible for:

• the Australia Post RTS fee of $12.90, and
• the full postage cost to resend the parcel

These charges must be paid before the parcel can be dispatched again. No refunds are provided for Return to Sender parcels.

Shipping, Dispatch & Delays

All orders are processed in the order they are received.

Express Post refers only to postage speed, not faster production times.

Laser Blanks is not responsible for delays caused by:

• Australia Post or courier services
• weather events or natural disasters
• transport or network disruptions
• peak seasonal periods
• incorrect address information

No refunds are issued for postage delays outside our control.

Section 2 — General Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy or sell any part of the Service without written permission from Laser Blanks.

Your content (excluding credit card information) may be transmitted unencrypted, but credit card details are always encrypted during transfer.

Section 3 — Accuracy, Completeness & Timeliness

Information on this site may not always be accurate, complete, or current. It is provided for general reference only. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor changes on the website.

Section 4 — Modifications to the Service & Prices

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We may modify or discontinue any Service at any time without liability.

Section 5 — Products & Services

Certain products may be available exclusively online and may have limited quantities. We reserve the right to restrict sales of products or services to any person or region, or to limit quantities per customer at our discretion.

Section 6 — Billing & Account Information

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. You agree to provide current, accurate billing and account information for all purchases made at our store.

Section 7 — Optional Tools

We may provide access to third-party tools. These tools are provided “as is” without warranties or representations, and use of them is entirely at your own risk.

Section 8 — Third-Party Links

Our Service may include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for evaluating or warranting the accuracy or content of third-party materials.

Section 9 — User Comments, Feedback & Submissions

By submitting comments or materials, you grant us the right to use, copy, publish, or distribute them without restriction. You agree not to submit unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content.

Section 10 — Personal Information

Your submission of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Section 11 — Errors, Inaccuracies & Omissions

Occasionally, information on our site may contain typographical errors or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions or shipping. We reserve the right to correct such errors at any time.

Laser Blanks is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or Services.
