✨ We recommend using two boards per cake – one for the base and one for the top – to achieve professional, consistent results.

How to Select the Right Size:

Each board's listed size refers to the inner circle, which is the part your cake will sit inside. For example, if you select a 5" board, the inner circle will measure exactly 5 inches to snugly fit your 5" cake. The scalloped outer edge will extend beyond that, giving you extra surface area to guide your buttercream or ganache and create beautiful scalloped edges.

This holds your cake in place. The size you select (e.g. 6") refers to this inner circle—designed to fit your cake perfectly.

The Scalloped Outer Edge

This surrounds your cake and extends outward. It acts as your icing guide to help you achieve even layers and that signature scalloped finish.

Simply sandwich your cake between two boards (top and bottom), apply your ganache or buttercream, and use a scraper along the scalloped edge to smooth and shape.
